RideJournal.app privacy policy

RideJournal.app is a privacy focused cycling app. We value and respect everyone’s right to privacy. We don’t collect any more data than we need, and we do not share data with anyone else.

Subscription

Subscription handling is done via RevenueCat.

Location services

RideJournal.app shows location data based off of what is stored in the .fit files. The requests for location while using the app are so that we can provide accurate weather on the home tab.

Data Sync via iCloud

The data you create gets automatically synced via iCloud so that all your apple devices signed into the same apple id will show the data. This is a private database that is only accessible to you and not shared with anyone else.

Information for European Union customers

By using our apps and providing your information, you authorise us to collect, use, and store your information outside of the European Union.

International transfers of information

Information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country in which you are located. Data privacy laws vary across jurisdictions, and different laws may be applicable to your data depending on where it is processed, stored, or used.
