What do I need to use Ride Journal?
An iPhone, iPad, or Mac running a iOS 26, or macOS 26. Your rides can come from a .fit file or from cycling workouts already in Apple Health.
How do I get my rides into Ride Journal?
Import a .fit file exported from your bike computer or cycling app, or create a journal entry straight from a cycling workout in Apple Health.
Does Ride Journal sync across my devices?
Yes. Your entries sync automatically via iCloud across every Apple device signed into the same Apple ID. The database is private and only accessible to you.
What about my privacy?
Ride Journal is privacy-focused. We don't include any user tracking and we don't store your location or other identifiable data on our servers. See the privacy policy for details.
